Halo3 is the third version of the Halo games series. It is the most advanced version featuring enhanced game environment and hi-tech weaponry that was not found in the previous versions of the game. Hence, player’s characters will be definitely different from what they were in the previous Halo game versions.

As a player, you will be given the role of the Master Chief. The Master Chief is one of the few survivors of the Spartan project and is a very skilled warrior. Technically, the Master Chief is a super soldier, whose abilities are presented through surgical alterations. When you play with two other players, they take on the role of the Arbiter or the Elite. In case you are playing this game online with other players, those players will also take on the role of the Elite, in the form of two other Elites, namely N’tho ‘Sraom and Usze ‘Taham.

These are basically the roles that you can take on as a character in the game. The game has other characters as well who are parts of your team. These are Sergeant Major Avery Johnson, and Commander Miranda Keyes, both of whom are well-versed in armed combat and skilled in fighting off aliens.
