However, with such issues there was also the probe of glitches in getting the system going. Here are some of the most common Xbox 360 glitches that have occurred over the last few years.

The most common glitches that were reported with the Xbox 360 were ones of overheating and disk scratching. There were gamers who reported that the system got so heated that it caused the console to lock up. There were other users who reported that when they inserted a game disk into the unit and when they happened to move the device while playing just to keep it in a better position, the Xbox completely scratched and ruined the disk.

The Xbox 360’s glitches certainly caused a problem in the handling of the Xbox. It was a major disappointment to all those who had placed pre-orders for the gaming console. Many users found that they could not use the console the way they wanted to. However, Microsoft dealt with these glitches by repairing the units that were sent to them with problem, and of course it released a statement that nine out of ten problems with the Xbox 360 could be resolved over the phone.
